YOU HEARD IT FROM THE HOTSHOTS:
Coach Neuheisel on what he likes from practice so far:"Almost everything. There's nothing I don't like. The only thing I don't like is having to say goodbye to youngsters who really want this dream. Unfortunately, that's part of this process. The guys on this team are doing everything we ask of them."
Coach Neuheisel on the defense: "Defense is getting better. Which is the expectation. I mean we got good coaches and good players that are all buying into the deal. When you play the same offense for a couple of weeks, you start to get some of the nuances, so offensively it's good for us to see what they're reading to make the necessary adjustments."
Coach Neuheisel on Scooby Wright being back at practice: "Scooby brought a lot of energy, and he always does. That's why you like him on the field. We'll nurse him back to health, and limit his rest to help get him to the dance."
