Arizona Hotshots quarterback John Wolford, Arizona Hotshots defensive back Shaquille Richardson and San Antonio Commanders defensive back De'Vante Bausby were named Alliance of American Football Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for week seven of the AAF season.

John Wolford completed 15 of 19 passes for 212 yards two touchdowns and added one rushing touchdown of 35 yards in the Arizona Hotshots' 32-15 victory over the San Diego Fleet. Wolford connected on throws to eight different receivers. He also contributed 44 rushing yards.

Wolford, 23, played college football at Wake Forest and was in training camp with the New York Jets until he was cut on September 4th.

Wolford's 35 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter put the game out of reach:

Shaquille Richardson finished with seven tackles, one interception and one pass deflection in the Arizona win over San Diego.

Richardson, 27, played college football at Arizona. He was selected in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers before playing in the Canadian Football League for the Calgary Stampeders during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Richardson interception against San Diego Fleet quarterback Marc Bercovici late in the fourth quarter snuffed out San Diego's last threat:

De'Vante Bausby intercepted a pass on a potential game-tying, two-point try by the Salt Lake Stallions and returned it for two points in the San Antonio Commanders' 19-15 victory over the Salt Lake Stallions.

Bausby, 26, played college football at Pittsburg State. He debuted in the NFL by playing in four games with the Chicago Bears in the 2016 season. After spending 2017 on the Philadelphia Eagles practice roster, he played in six games with Philadelphia last season.

Bausby stepped in front of Salt Lake quarterback Josh Woodrum's pass in the left flat and returned it untouched to push San Antonio to a 19-15 victory.
