March 18, 2019 - Birmingham Iron quarterback Luis Perez, San Antonio Commanders defensive back Derron Smith and Arizona Hotshots defensive end Rykeem Yates were named Alliance of American Football Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Unsung Hero of the Week, respectively, for week six of the AAF season. February 16, 2019 - The Arizona Hotshots rallied late for a 20-18 victory at the Liberty Bowl in the home opener for the Memphis Express Saturday night. Arizona trailed 12-0 at halftime, a margin that lasted most of the third quarter. John Wolford hit Rashad Ross for Arizona's first score with 1:06 left in the third to cut their deficit to 12-6, but Memphis quarterback Christian Hackenberg countered with a four-yard scoring run to make it 18-6 Express at 13:40 of the fourth. Wolford, Hotshots Put on a Show with 38-22 Win over Salt Lake

February 10, 2019 - The Arizona Hotshots closed out the Alliance of American Football's opening weekend with a 38-22 victory over the Salt Lake Stallions at Sun Devil Stadium. Arizona quarterback John Wolford opened the scoring when he hit tight end Gerald Christian for a five-yard TD with 1:03 left in the first quarter. The pass capped off a 95-yard drive.
