
Another Year, Another Season Begins

It's been a while since we were last in touch and although the MLS season is on break, we though we would check in and update you with off-season information.
Combine and SuperDraft:
The MLS Combine starts today and will take place until January 15th. The combine is an opportunity for some of the top selected soccer prospects to showcase their talents to prospective MLS coaches. Throughout the week players will be expected undergo a variety of tests in addition to playing in a number of games. Coaches will have a first hand look at some of the future talents that will be available in the upcoming MLS SuperDraft.

Speaking of the SuperDraft, and as you probably all remember, we selected MLS Rookie of the Year Maurice Edu with the #1 pick last January along with Andrew Boyens at pick #10. Due to some trades last season we now hold both the 9th and 10th picks in the first round of the draft. The 2008 SuperDraft will take place next week in Baltimore on Friday, January 18th @ 2 PM EST.
