Rockford Lightning News Release
Heidi Woodyatt is now a LuvaBull The Rockford Lightning has had fifty-six players called up to the National Basketball Association over the years. On Friday July 15, another member of the Lightning family received the call from the NBA. Heidi Woodyatt, owner of Progressive Chiropractic in Rockford and 2004-2005 Lightning Girl competed against 160 girls for a chance to dance for the Chicago Bulls. After a grueling three-day tryout, which consisted of interviews and dance routines, Heidi and 28 other girls were selected for the 2005-06 Luvabull squad. Heidi is not the first Lightning girl to ever make the LuvaBulls. Former Lightning Girls, Lisa Goines and April Kleiser have made the NBA sidelines in years past. Former Lightning Girl Wendi Randle (2002-2003) was selected to be a member of this season's Indianapolis Colts dance team. Woodyatt is responsible to dance during team timeouts at every home Chicago Bulls game. She will also perform three half-time shows and be required to dance at outside performances. Tryouts for the 2005-2006 Lightning Girls will be held in August. Monitor the Lightning web page at www.rockfordlightning.com for all details.
