Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER - Add another accolade to Jeremy Noble's plate for his two-goal, five-assist performance in his NLL debut on Sunday. The rookie was already named the 1st Star of the Game. On Wednesday, the National Lacrosse League announced that he's the recipient of the Pinty's Wingman of the Week league award.
"It's special - I'm honored to get this award and to have my first game like that," said the 23-year-old. "I still have a lot to learn. I'm just glad we got the win on Sunday night and am looking forward to carrying the momentum through to Saturday night versus Vancouver."
Colorado defeated Minnesota, 12-8, three days ago. Noble and teammate John Grant, Jr. each had a game-high seven points. The rookie led all players with 10 loose balls.
Noble is the second Mammoth player to receive the league award this season. Forward Adam Jones was recognized for his week-four performance against Vancouver in Colorado's 20-9 victory. The teams play in Vancouver this Saturday and then at Pepsi Center on Sunday, March 29 on Gavin Prout Jersey Retirement Night.
