Angels Recall Sean Rodriguez

SALT LAKE CITY - The Angels announced today that the club has recalled infielder Sean Rodriguez from the Salt Lake Bees. Rodriguez replaces the injured Howie Kendrick, who was forced to the 15-day disabled list due to a strained left hamstring. These announcements were made by club General Manager Tony Reagins.
Rodriguez, 22, hit .333 in 13 games with 11 RBI, 5 doubles and 4 home runs for Salt Lake. His first appearance with the Angels, which is scheduled for tonight, will be his major league debut. The Miami, Fla. native was rated as the Angels eighth best prospect in 2007 after being named the organization's Minor League Player of the Year in 2006.
