
Angels Option Willits to Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY (May 26, 2009) - The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced today that the club has optioned outfielder Reggie Willits to Triple-A Salt Lake.
Willits, 27, has appeared in nine games for the Angels in 2009, hitting .222 with one stolen base. In 22 games for the Bees this season, he has hit .250 with four doubles, 10 RBI and three stolen bases. The Chickasha, Okla. native was originally selected by the Angels in the seventh round of the 2003 free agent draft.
