Angel City Football Club Announces Flying Embers as the Club's Official Hard Kombucha Partner

LOS ANGELES - Today, Angel City Football Club (ACFC) announced Flying Embers as the team's official Hard Kombucha partner. The partnership with the Southern California-based brewery stemmed from a shared commitment to putting purpose at the heart of all activities and supporting local communities. Together, ACFC and Flying Embers will work to further each other's missions by creating more green spaces in the Los Angeles region and honoring our community's first responders.

"Since partnering with the World Surf League, we've been lucky to be able to continue to build partnerships with organizations who share our values and want to enact meaningful change," said VP of Marketing, Ali Davala. "We love what Angel City stands for and have been consistently impressed and inspired by their fight for gender equality. We hope that through our partnership, we can contribute to ACFC's mission and together make a positive impact locally."

Combining modern science with the ancient alchemy of fermentation, Flying Embers brews dry, eliminating all sugar and carbs, and crafting their flavors with organic ingredients, whole plant botanicals, superfruits, and adaptogens. Flying Embers was launched in the midst of the 2017 Thomas Fires when flames threatened the company's home and brewery. Humbled and inspired by the event that shaped them, Flying Embers has donated a portion of proceeds to firefighters and first responders since its inception, dedicating resources to rewilding, response, and recovery programs.

Flying Embers and ACFC will activate the Angel City Sponsorship Model, structured for every team partner to make a charitable impact by supporting an organization dedicated to rewilding land affected by forest fires and honoring those who help keep us safe.

Outside of their environmental initiatives, Flying Embers, and ACFC will recognize a community member and highlight their service at select home matches through "Moments of Gratitude," an at-game series featuring Angel City players, coaches, and executives who will share stories and quotes of gratitude. Honoring female firefighters, first responders, and other heroes, this "Moments of Gratitude" series aligns with the mindset of both brands.

The Flying Embers Brewery & Social Club, located in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles, will serve as a home base for Angel City fans and supporters and host watch parties and exclusive events throughout the season.

Additionally, the ACFC front office in Santa Monica will feature a year-round Flying Embers Bar for the team, staff, and supporters to enjoy their organic brews.
