(Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, BC) - The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club is proud to announce that Hall of Fame Inductee Andre Dawson will be at Nat Bailey Stadium on Monday, August 9th for a Superstar Series appearance presented by The BC Sports Hall of Fame.
Dawson, who played with four teams over his Hall of Fame career is an eight time Gold Glove winner, an eight time All-Star and won four Silver Slugger awards during his Major League career.
"We are thrilled to be able to bring in the most recent addition to the Baseball Hall of Fame for our fans to meet," says Canadians President Andy Dunn.
"To be able to have Andre join us just days after he finds his way into Cooperstown is also pretty exciting".
Dawson's appearance introduces the 3rd annual Superstar Series presented by the BC Sports Hall of Fame. Since 2008, the Vancouver Canadians have welcome former stars such as Tim Raines, Ferguson Jenkins, Bret 'The Hitman' Hart, Bill Buckner, Cecil Fielder and others.
