Andre Bouvet-Morrissette Recalled from Evansville

Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald announced today the club has recalled forward Andre Bouvet-Morrissette from loan to the Evansville IceMen of the ECHL.

Bouvet-Morrissette, 21, was acquired in a trade from Milwaukee on Feb. 19 in exchange for future considerations. Following the trade he was moved from Cincinnati to Evansville where he has four points (three goals, one assist) in six games. In his previous 20 games with Cincinnati he had registered two assists.

The 6'3", 187-pound winger has two games of AHL experience this season with the Milwaukee Admirals. He made his AHL debut against Peoria on Jan. 11 and played again the following night against Rockford.

A native of Trois-Rivieres, PQ, Bouvet-Morrissette spent the last two seasons with Drummondville in the QMJHL. Last season he led the Voltigeurs in goals (39) and points (72). Overall he appeared in 128 games for Drummondville and collected 45 goals, 47 assists, 102 points and 87 penalty minutes.
