
Anaheim Arsenal Announces Two Preseason Games

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Nov. 17, 2008) - The Anaheim Arsenal announced today that Hope International University will host two NBA Development League preseason games next week. Both games will be free to the general public and offer fans their first glimpse at a new-look Anaheim team. Hope International University is located at 2500 Nutwood Avenue in Fullerton.
The Arsenal will take on the Bakersfield Jam on Thursday, November 20 at 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, November 22 at 4:30 p.m., the team will play the Los Angeles D-Fenders.
Fans are encouraged to come and see new Head Coach Sam Vincent, formerly of the Charlotte Bobcats, lead an Anaheim team loaded with college standouts and NBA-level talent. Each of the Arsenal's top two draft picks have spent significant time in the NBA. Tierre Brown, the team's top selection, played 76 games for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2004-05 season, and second-round pick James White earned a 2007 NBA Championship ring with the San Antonio Spurs.
The Arsenal's home opener is set for Wednesday, December 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center. Season tickets and special group rates are now on sale for the 2008-09 season. For more information, please contact a team representative at (714) 635-2255.
