Tri-City Americans News Release

Kennewick, WA - The Tri-City Americans are pleased to announce the hiring of Bruno Baseotto as assistant coach of the hockey club.

Baseotto bring a wealth of experience to the position with 11 years of coaching background to the hockey club. He spent the last four seasons as assistant coach of the WHL's Saskatoon Blades.

It won't be a new experience for Baseotto working with head coach Don Nachbaur as he joined his staff with the Seattle Thunderbirds during the T-birds 1997 playoff run to the WHL finals.

"Working with Don was a very positive experience for me," said Baseotto. "I' ve heard many good things about the hockey club and both Bob Tory and Don really worked hard and have turned the corner as a franchise."

"Bruno brings a wealth of experience to our hockey club," said vice president/general manager Bob Tory. "His experience and knowledge plus his working experience along with Don makes him a great addition to our hockey club."
