
Americans to Honor Ralph Strangis Tomorrow Night

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans announced today that the club will honor former Dallas Stars play by play broadcaster, Ralph Strangis, before tomorrow night's Game 6 against the Ontario Reign.
Strangis was the voice of the Dallas Stars for 25 years, and before that with the Minnesota North Stars organization before the team relocated to Dallas back in the 1992-1993 season. Strangis spent the first couple of years working as color analyst, before taking over play by play duties.
Strangis h will drop the puck before tomorrow night's Game 6 of the ECHL Western Conference Finals against the Ontario Reign.
"Ralph Strangis is one of the best ever, and broadcasting legend in DFW," said Americans broadcaster, Tommy Daniels. "I've been lucky enough to know Ralph for most of his 25 years in Dallas and there is not a nicer guy in the business. I will personally miss hearing his call and I'm sure I echo the feeling of hockey fans everywhere. You can't replace a guy like Ralph."
