
Americans Lose Battle with Thunderbirds in Overtime

The AMS were the first on the board tonight against the Seattle Thunderbirds with Nolan Yaremko's goal in the second at 0:31.
SEA took the first lead of the night with a power play goal from Wedman at 13:09
The Tri-City Americans, Krystof Hrabik, responded with a wrap-around goal to tie things up at 15:02.
Thunderbirds, Wedman and Nolan Volcan, each land one in the beginning of the third giving SEA the 4-2 lead.
The Americans, Parker AuCoin, Sasha Mutala and Yaremko got busy in the third and pushed out three goals for the first lead of the night 5-4.
SEA, Volcan lands a goal as well in the third at 16:04 and ties things up at 5-5 for the 18th overtime this season.
SEA ultimately takes the victory over the Americans with Owen Williams goal 1:32 into overtime.
Final score: 6-5 AMS
Shots: 30-33 SEA.
The AMS will be back home at the Toyota Center this Friday against the Spokane Chiefs at 7:05 p.m.
