Americans Forward Bruce Graham Named All Star Starter

Allen, Texas - The Central Hockey League announced today that Americans forward Bruce Graham has been named a starter for the 2011-2012 CHL All Star Game in Arizona.
Bruce Graham, a native of Moncton, New Brunswick, is a three-time CHL All Star. Graham, along with former Americans defenseman David Strathman, was voted in last season. Graham missed the game due to the birth of his first child, with Colton Yellow Horn taking his place on the roster. In 2009-2010, Graham was selected along with Justin Bowers to represent the Americans during All Star Week.
"It's nice to be recognized for a good first half," said Americans three time All Star Center Bruce Graham. "I'm looking forward to the game, it should be a lot of fun."
Graham led the Americans in scoring in 2009-2010 with 79 points (31 goals 48 assists). He finished second in scoring to Colton Yellow Horn last year with 73 points (34 goals, 39 assists), and leads the Americans in scoring this year with 36 points (14 goals, 22 assists).
The Central Hockey League will announce the All Star Reserves on Thursday. The Americans return to action this weekend with games against the Laredo Bucks on Friday, December 30th at 7:05 PM, and Saturday, December 31st at 7:05 PM. On New Year's Eve, the first 1500 kids (12 and under) will receive an Americans Junior Jersey, compliments of Metro PCS.
