Americans Fan Fest and Red-White Scrimage Set for Saturday, October 12th

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans will hold a Fan Fest and select a seat event on Saturday, October 12th beginning at 4:00 pm at Allen Event Center.
The Americans will not play the traditional pre-season game like in years past; instead they will host a Fan Fest this Saturday which includes a Red vs. White scrimmage, skills competition and shootout. Head Coach Steve Martinson and Associate Coach Richard Matvichuk will be on the benches during the scrimmage as well as conduct the skills competition.
Fan Fest is free with the doors opening at 2:00 pm with the on ice activities scheduled to start at 4 o clock. Come early and take a tour of the Allen Event Center as well as pick out your seats for the upcoming season plus free popcorn and dollar drinks. National Anthem auditions start at 3:00 pm.
The Americans will open the regular season on Saturday, October 19th in Wichita with the home opener set for Sunday October 20th at 4;05 pm for the championship banner raising celebration.
