Tri-City Americans News Release
KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-City Americans announced today that Jacobs Radio is the team's new radio broadcast partner. All Americans regular season and playoff games, home and away, will be broadcast on 95.3 UROCK Radio.
The multi-year partnership will bring fans across the greater Tri-Cities area together with an improved quality broadcast.
"We are thrilled to partner with UROCK Radio and continue bettering our game day experience for fans," said Americans general manager Bob Tory. "The Americans and Jacobs Radio share a commitment to providing listeners with a high-quality broadcast. This will help us continue to build our fan base and better connect with fans."
The broadcast partnership extends a longstanding relationship between the Americans and Jacobs Radio, including a current standing advertisement agreement. Jeff Jacobs, owner of Jacobs Radio, also served as the Tri-City Americans in-arena host for numerous years.
"We are excited to team up with the Americans with upgraded broadcast equipment and improved full stereo signal even inside the Toyota Center," said Jacobs.
Fans can tune in to the radio broadcast on 95.3 FM, as well as online through the Jacobs Radio app.
Craig West, the team's longtime radio broadcaster, stepped down at the end of the 2022-23 season. As the Americans finalize the hiring of their next broadcaster, West will serve as the play-by-play voice in the interim.
The first broadcast on UROCK will be September 22 as the Americans open the 2023-24 season on the road in Prince George.
