
American Hockey League Announces Suspension
April 19, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Bridgeport Sound Tigers left wing Ross Johnston has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of his actions in a game at Albany on Apr. 16.
Johnston was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss the first three games of Bridgeport's division semifinal playoff series vs. Toronto, Saturday (Apr. 23), Sunday (Apr. 24) and next Thursday (Apr. 28).
