St. Joe picked up its fourth win of the season in dramatic fashion with a ten-inning 3-2 win over Sioux City. Seven Blacksnakes picked up at least one hit on the night, with C Jacob Wallis going 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI. Neither starting pitcher factored in the decision but both had impressive outings. Blacksnakes starter David Glick pitched seven innings, allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out five batters and Explorers starter Brad Guy pitched nine innings, allowing two runs on eight hits with four strikeouts. In the bottom of the tenth with the score tied at two, St. Joe 2B Andy Wilson singled to left field to drive in the winning run for the Blacksnakes.

El Paso 5, Coastal Bend 2

The Diablos used hits from eight different batters to pick up five runs and remain atop the South Division. Five different Diablos picked up one RBI each to support starting pitcher Robbie Wachman. Wachman earned his second win of the season with a 6.2-inning five-hit performance in which he allowed two runs and struck out five batters. El Paso closer Ned Darley picked up his fourththird save of the season with a one-inning shutout performance. Diablos SS Albenis Machado went 2-for-5 on the night with a run and an RBI.

Lincoln 13, Fort Worth 10

Lincoln fell behind 5-0 early to Fort Worth but an impressive offensive showing in the middle innings gave the Saltdogs their 10th win of the season. In the third the Saltdogs took advantage of three hit batsmen to score five runs and tie the game. Lincoln widened their lead to 9-5 in the fourth and fifth innings with two and four runs respectively. A three-run homer from Fort Worth SS Marc Mirizzi brought the Cats within one run of Lincoln. After two seventh inning Saltdogs runs, the Cats again pulled within one run, but Lincoln closer Matt Varner entered the game with a three-run lead in the ninth and closed the books on Fort Worth with three straight strikeouts to pick up his third save of the season.

Pensacola 10, Shreveport 4

Pensacola blew up offensively against Shreveport Friday. The Pelicans scored 10 runs on 14 hits. Both Pensacola RF Nathan Warrick and 1B Marcos Rodriguez went 4-for-5 on the night. Rodriguez scored three times and drove in two runs while Warrick scored twice with one RBI. Starting Pensacola pitcher Todd Androsko earned his first win of the season after pitching 5.2 innings and allowing four runs, two of which were earned, on seven hits with five strikeouts. For the Sports 1B Justin Humphries homered in a 2-for-4 night at the plate with two RBI.

Sioux Falls 9, St. Paul 5

The Canaries scored nine runs on 16 hits to outscore the Saints and remain atop the Northern Division standings. Sioux Falls 3B Matt Imwalle was smoking at the plate, as he went 5-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI. Canaries 1B Abner Arroyo also had an impressive night at the plate, going 3-for-4 and scoring twice. Starting Canaries pitcher Pat Mahomes remained undefeated on the season with a six-inning four-run performance in which he surrendered nine hits and struck out four Saints batters. For St. Paul DH Adam Olow went 2-for-4 with two RBI.
