Four different Shreveport batters had at least two hits and two RBI in the game to help the Sports past Coastal Bend 8-1. 3B Melvin Falu led the way for the powerful Sports offense, going 3-for-5 with a homerun and two RBI. Starting pitcher Ryan Snyder was as equally impressive as the offense, pitching a complete game and allowing just one run on eight hits. This was the third straight complete game pitched by a Shreveport pitcher. With the win Snyder improves to 6-6 on the season. DH Pat O'Sullivan went 3-for-4 with a solo homerun to account for all the Coastal Bend scoring.

St. Joe starting pitcher Donovan Graves pitched a complete game, allowing just one run on seven hits, to help the Blacksnakes knock off Lincoln 6-1. With the win, Graves improves to 8-5 on the season. At the plate, DH Mark Burke and C Mikaela Dworken combined for five hits and five RBI. For Lincoln, 3B Jay Yaconetti went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Fort Worth pounded out 13 hits to take a 3-1 victory over Sioux Falls. Five different Cats' batters had at least two hits in the game, with SS Marc Mirizzi leading the way. Mirizzi went 3-for-4 and scored a run in the game. Starting pitcher Cory Walters was effective, allowing just one run over seven innings to pick up his 12th win of the season. Closer Steve Wilkerson pitched a scoreless ninth to notch his 16th save.

CF Anthony Monegan went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI to lead the Canaries at the plate.
