Pensacola C Jose Yepez went 2-for-3 with two RBI to help Pensacola past Coastal Bend 8-6. Relief pitcher Carl Scheafer pitched two scoreless innings for the Pelicans to pick up the win, his fourth of the season. Closer Tony Pierce was perfect in the ninth, striking out two of the three batters he faced, to notch his 19th save of the season. Coastal Bend SS Jack Joffrion homered and drove in two runs in the game. The homerun was Joffrion's fourth of the year.

Shreveport 14, Fort Worth 3

Shreveport scored early and often, posting nine runs after five innings, en route to a 14-3 blowout of Fort Worth. Six different Shreveport batters had at least three hits in the game, with CF Austin Easley leading the way. Easley went 4-for-5 with a homerun and two RBI in the game. RF Al Corbeil and 1B Justin Humphries also homered in the game for the Sports. Starting pitcher Bert Snow allowed just three runs over six innings to pick up the win and improve to 7-3 for the year. For Fort Worth, 3B Terence Green hit his fourth homerun of the season and drove in two runs.

Lincoln exploded for 13 hits to rout El Paso 12-2 and extend its winning streak to 10 games. 2B Josh Patton led the Saltdogs at the plate, going 4-for-5 with a homerun and five RBI. 1B Brett Cooley also homered in the game, his ninth of the year. Relief pitcher Kyle Ruwe allowed just two runs over the final five innings to get the win and improve to 8-6 on the season. El Paso RF Carlos Sepulveda and 3B J.P. Schmidt combined for four hits and drove in both of the Diablos' runs.

Starting pitcher Matt Koziara allowed just two runs on five hits over seven innings of work to pick up the win and improve to 3-2 for the year. Closer Matt Montgomery pitched a scoreless ninth to tally his seventh save. For Sioux City, RF/LF Kevin Henry hit his 14th homerun of the season.

St. Paul starting pitcher Anthony Boughner allowed just one run on four hits over eight innings to pick up his seventh win and help the Saints to a 7-2 victory over St. Joe. At the plate, RF Adam Olow and C Jeremy Frost combined for six hits and three RBI. Overall the Saints had 10 hits in the game. RF Wil Quintana and 2B Jake Whitesides each had two hits for the Blacksnakes.
