Texas 7, Sioux Falls 6- Box Score The Texas AirHogs hit a walk off home run to defeat the Sioux Falls Canaries 7-6 on Sunday.
The AirHogs jumped out to a 2-0 on a Dillon Thomas home run (7) in the bottom of the first before falling behind 6-4 before the end of the eighth inning.
In the bottom of the ninth, Texas put runners on first and second with one out when Song Yunqi reached on a dropped third strike and Chen Chen walked. Chen Junpeng then lined out before Stewart Ijames delivered a game winning three-run home run (3).
Carlos Contreras (1-0) pitched the ninth to earn the win.
Cleburne 5, Kansas City 2- Box Score
The Cleburne Railroaders clubbed three home runs to defeat the Kansas City T-Bones 5-2 on Sunday.
Levi Scott hit the first home run (7) in the bottom of the third to tie the game 1-1. The T-Bones answered with a lead-off home run by Zach Walters (6) in the next frame to reclaim the lead. The Railroaders took control in the bottom of the fifth when Cameron Monger (5) hit a three-run home run. John Menken added a solo home run (2) in the bottom of the eighth to bring the game to its final score.
Jared Mortensen (2-2) allowed just two earned in 8.2 innings of work to earn the win. Shawn Blackwell recorded the last out to earn the save (5).
