The Saints broke a 1-1 tie and piled on to grab a matinee win at CHS Field. CF Alonzo Harris scored on a wild pitch in the fifth inning to give St. Paul a 2-1 lead, then 1B Angelo Songco blasted a two-run homer in the seventh. DH Ryan Lashley added an RBI single later in the inning, immediately followed by an RBI double by SS Anthony Phillips.
Phillips' 3-for-4 game was one of four multi-hit games for the North Division champion Saints.
For Sioux City, SS Noah Perio and 2B Ryan Court had two hits each.
RHP Jeff Shields struck out four in seven innings to earn the win for the Saints.
