Fargo-Moorhead 12, Lincoln 4
RedHawks LF Jon Gaston hit two home runs and Fargo-Moorhead tagged Lincoln for 20 hits in a 12-4 win. Gaston joined the party late. After going hitless in his first three at-bats, the left-handed hitter connected for a solo home run in the seventh and a three-run shot in the eighth. Five different RedHawks, including Gaston, had multi-hit games.
Lincoln had opportunities to score, as well. While the RedHawks out-hit the Saltdogs, Fargo-Moorhead also committed six errors in the field. Nonetheless, the offensive onslaught was easily enough to get RHP Alex Caldera his sixth win of the season.
