
Ambush Sign Brazilian Goalkeeper Paulo Nascimento

St. Charles, MO - The St. Louis Ambush today announced the signing of veteran Brazilian goalkeeper Paulo Nascimento. Per league and team policies, terms of the agreement were not announced.
Nascimento is a native of Natal, a city in the state of Rio Grande do Norte in northeastern Brazil. He brings over ten years' professional futsal experience to the Ambush. Nascimento has played in the Brazilian national futsal league for teams like SAo Paulo FC, Garî - a, Santos and SAo José. Paulo won the SAo Paulo state cup and the regional cup twice, and the national league once.
The Ambush open their 2017-18 schedule on the road when they travel across the state to duel the Central Division rival Kansas City Comets this Saturday, November 4 at 7:05 p.m. at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence. The Ambush kick off the home portion of the new season when they host the Milwaukee Wave on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 7:05 p.m. CT at the Family Arena. November 11 is also Veterans Day, and the Ambush will recognize our Veterans during the game. The 2017-18 season will be the fifth for the franchise, who has called the Family Arena home since 2013.
