Allentown Ambassadors News Release
The Allentown Ambassadors will hold a Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, August 16th when the Ambassadors take on the New Jersey Jackals, team officials announced today.
The night replaces the Elvis Night scheduled for the 16th. All current U.S. military personnel and their families will get into the game for free (a valid military I.D. is required) in honor of their service to this country. As part of the night, a military honor guard will present the colors before the National Anthem.
In addition, any fan who brings a non-perishable item to the game will get $1 off the price of admission. All items donated will be sent to the troops in Iraq. Examples of items are t-shirts, hair care products, or personal care products. These are just some examples, there are other non-perishable items that will work. For more information please call the Ambassador office at (610) 437-6800.
