Ambassadors Release Gonzalez, Sign Perez

Allentown Ambassadors News Release

The Allentown Ambassadors released Carlos Gonzalez today, and added right handed pitcher Miguel Perez, team officials announced.

Perez was 1-3 with a 4.21 ERA last season with the St. Paul Saints in the Northern League. He struck out 55 batters in 47 innings pitched. The Ambassadors are also going to a five man starting rotation, with Orlando Encarnacion stepping into a starting role. He will start tomorrow against New Jersey. Perez will make his first start Friday in Brockton.
