AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls collected four points against the first place Wichita Falls Wildcats this past weekend. A 1-0 shutout victory on Friday followed by a 6-3 triumph the following night, improved the Bulls mark to 5-2-1. The Bulls trail the first place Wildcats and the Topeka RoadRunners by three points in the South Division standings.
A four game home stand faces off this Friday at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center as the Bulls renew the best rivalry in the North American Hockey League with the Topeka RoadRunners at 7 pm.

FRIDAY, OCT. 11, & SATURDAY, OCT. 12 VS TOPEKA ROADRUNNERS: The Amarillo Bulls and the Topeka RoadRunners meet for the first time this weekend at 7 pm. On Friday, it's the return of the Family Four Pack & Bring A Buddy Night. For $39 fans can get four hotdogs, four sodas and four tickets to the game. The Bring a Buddy Night features two tickets, two hotdogs and two sodas for $20.
BULLS IN THE COMMUNITY: On Tuesday the Amarillo Bulls players will be participating in the United Way Student Rally at the Grand Plaza in the Amarillo Civic Center. Later in the week, Bulls players will visit Bivins Elementary School, and participate in the ACE Scholarship Program.

UPCOMING PROMOTIONS:
WEEKEND PASS: Fans will want to take advantage of a new promotion on Friday, Oct. 18 and Saturday Oct. 19 when the Amarillo Bulls host the Corpus Christi IceRays. It's a Weekend Pass, where fans can get either Two Silver Level Tickets for $18 or two Red Level Tickets for $24. That's a savings of six dollars.
FACE OFF AGAINST CANCER: On Saturday, Oct. 19 when the Amarillo Bulls host the Corpus Christi IceRays, it's Pink in the Rink Breast Cancer Awareness night. Further details will be announced in the coming weeks.
WEEKEND RECAP:
AMARILLO 1 - WICHITA FALLS 0 (Shootout): For the first time since 2010, the Amarillo Bulls won a game in a shootout. Kyle Gattelaro, who became just the second Bulls' player to win a game in a shootout, (Terrance Johnson both previous games) fired the winner in the seventh round. Goaltender Collin Delia was outstanding in goal stopping everything he faced.
AMARILLO 6 - WICHITA FALLS 3: Four third period goals ignited the Bulls Offense and helped them beat the Wildcats for a second straight night. The Bulls surrendered a two goal lead in the second but found a way to restore that in the third. Joe Grabowski scored twice for the Bulls, while Kyle Gattelaro, Brendan McGuire, Tyler Gernhofer and Brady Ferguson had the singles. Paul Berrafato stopped 40 of 43 shots he faced for the win in goal.
