THE SERIES: It's the final two regular season meetings between the Amarillo Bulls and the Wichita Falls Wildcats. After winning the first match-up, the Bulls have dropped nine straight. Seven of the previous nine have been decided by two goals or less. Twelve power play goals have been scored in the series and three shorthanded.

WHAT IS AT STAKE: The Amarillo Bulls are trying to halt a six-game losing streak where they have netted just eight goals. In four of the six games, the Bulls have tallied one goal or in another case were shutout. The Wichita Falls Wildcats were beaten 2-1 in their last outing by the Corpus Christi IceRays. That loss stopped a six game winning streak. The Wildcats have a five point lead on Lone Star for first place in the South Division.

STREAKS AND TRENDS: Forward Nick Santoro has three points (two goals and an assist) in his last three games. The Bulls have failed to score a power play goal in their last nine opportunities. Goaltenders Brian Baker and Anton Martinsson have split the last six games. The Wichita Falls Wildcats have not lost a home game since back on December 19th.

SOUTH DIVISION PLAYOFF UPDATE: The Odessa Jackalopes head to Topeka this weekend to face the RoadRunners and trail the fourth and final playoff spot by two points in the South Division. The Jacks and RoadRunners will play a three game set with the final contest on Sunday serving as Odessa's 2nd game in hand. The Corpus Christi IceRays are on the road this weekend facing the Lone Star Brahmas in North Richland Hills. The IceRays have the two point over Odessa lead thanks to a 2-1 triumph at home over Wichita Falls last Saturday.
