On Wednesday, Reggie the RoadRunner vistited Indian Creek Boys and Girls Club to spend some time with the kids. He got a chance to eat lunch, take some selfies, and he even managed to get in a game of tag before he had to leave. Reggie made sure to let all of the kids know about the RoadRunners 3 game series this weekend against the Odessa Jackalopes that begins on Friday as well as session 2 of the RoadRunner's Learn To Skate program that starts back up Thursday, March 17. Later that day, the RoadRunners visited Sheltered Living (SLI), on behalf of Jim Garrison State Farm, to deliver 50 donated tickets for this Saturday night's game. Yu Hikosaka, Marshall Bowery, Jack Nickels, Ryan O'Connor and Jeff Makowski visited with the SLI staff along with Reggie the RoadRunner. Together they took some pictures, shared stories, and found out how crucial organizations like SLI are to our community and how important partnerships like this are to RoadRunner Nation. The staff and residents of SLI will be joining the Runners on Super Hero Night this Saturday. Doors open at 6:05pm and the first 100 fans will receive a limited edition RoadRunner Comic Book. Fans can also treat themselves to $2 beer and $2 hotdogs until 6:35pm. TopCon will be on hand with a group of famous superheroes who will be available for photos and autographs. Kids who wear their own superhero costumes can take part in an on ice parade during the first intermission and the three best costumes will be awarded great prizes.
