AMARILLO, TX - Hard to play against, gritty and determined...

That has been the signature prototype player for the Amarillo Bulls over the past five seasons and they hope their latest tender signing will continue on that great tradition.

The Bulls announced today (Tuesday) that they have tendered forward Patrick Choi of the Anaheim Junior Ducks Under-16 program for the 2015-16 season. Choi, who was born in Seoul, South Korea, has 15 goals and 11 assists for 26 points this season for the Jr. Ducks.

"He is a grinding power forward that is very hard to play against," said Bulls Director Of Scouting Erik Blasé. "Patrick was always around the puck and also has a great shot. We are thrilled to add him to add him to our team."

The 5-9, 185 pound power forward, who is second on the team in scoring, has three power play goals and also three game winners.

"Patrick is the type of player that the Bulls could have for multiple seasons and can be an excellent fit for the South Division," Blasé said.

It's back on the ice for the Amarillo Bulls this Thursday and Friday when they visit the Corpus Christi IceRays at American Bank Center at 7 pm.

Fans can tune into the action live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, online at www.amarillobulls.com and on PPV courtesy of Fast Hockey beginning with the Wayland Baptist University Warm Up Show 20 minutes before the puck is dropped.

It won't be long until the Bulls return home for two games at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. That takes place on Friday, Dec. 19 and Saturday,, Dec. 20 against the Lone Star Brahmas at 7 pm. Fans are encouraged to wear their ugliest Christmas Sweater to Friday's game and they could win a prize. Saturday is the annual Toys For Tots Teddy Bear Toss Presented By Walmart where fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently used Teddy Bear or Stuffed Animal to the game. When the bulls score their first goal, throw the toys onto the ice in support of the great cause.
