Amarillo Bulls Host Wichita Falls Thursday in Exhibition Game

AMARILLO, TX - Hockey fans in the Texas Panhandle get their first glimpse at the 2012-2013 Amarillo Bulls starting Thursday night.

The Bulls will entertain the Wichita Falls Wildcats in the first of two exhibition games at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Face off is set for 7 pm. The second game will take place on Friday night. Tickets are just $5 when purchased in advance at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk in the Amarillo Building.

Both exhibition games will serve as an excellent opportunity for the coaching staffs of both the Bulls and the Wildcats to evaluate players. Fans will see many familiar faces in the Bulls' line-up in the two games, as well as some of the new recruits.

Paul Baxter returns for his second season behind the bench of the Wichita Falls Wildcats that finished fifth in the South Division during the regular season. The Wildcats had a strong season on home ice with a record of 14-14-2.

The Bulls and the Wildcats met a total of eight times during the 2011-2012 campaign with Amarillo posting a mark of 6-1-1. Three of the eight games were decided by one goal.

Fans can listen to the game live at www.amarillobulls.com via Ustream with Denis J. Puska, beginning at 6:55 pm. There will be no Fast Hockey telecast available for either game.
