Amarillo Bulls Announce South Division Final Schedule

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls will face the Shreveport Mudbugs in the Best-of-Five South Division Championship and the right to advance to the Robertson Cup in Minnesota next month.
The two teams just completed their respective five game series against the Corpus Christi IceRays and the Lone Star Brahmas. The Mudbugs survived a triple overtime win over the Brahmas in their game five, while the Bulls rallied from two games down to beat the IceRays 3-1 on home ice.
The Bulls will host the first two games of the South Finals this Thursday and Friday at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.
The games are sponsored by Cantex Roofing and commemorative South Division championship rally towels available at the door on both nights. Thursday's game will feature drink specials, while Friday has the return of the Family-4-Pack for $50 and the Bring-A-Bud Pack for $25.
The scene will shift next week to George's Pond Hirsch Coliseum for Games 3 and 4 (if necessary) on Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2 at 7:11 pm. If a fifth and deciding game is needed, it will be played on Sunday, May 5 at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.
Tickets for the games in Amarillo are available at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk, Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket locations including United Supermarkets or by calling 806-242-1122.
Fans can tune into the action of the South Division Championship Series on 107.1 Nash Icon, www.amarillobulls.com/listen and on PPV with Hockey TV beginning with Prelude To The Playoffs Presented By Fit Omni Mobile Tire Service at 6:30 pm for Games 1, 2 and 5 and 6:40 pm Games 3 and 4, with Denis J. Puska. The puck drop follows at 7 pm in Amarillo, and 7:11 pm in Shreveport.
