Amarillo Bulls News Release
AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls announced today (Tuesday) a change of the Sunday, Feb. 22 game versus the Wichita Falls Wildcats.
That game will be moved to Tuesday, March 24 at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Vice President and General Manager Rick Matchett says the change was necessitated for a variety of reasons.
"We had to change the game because of the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament that is being held in Ann Arbor on Monday, February 23 and 24th, 2015," Matchett said. "Our 3 players and coach as well as Wichita Falls' players and coach need to be leaving on Sunday, February 22 to be in Michigan in time for the tournament."
"This is an important time for these players to be seen by scouts for their future so we want to make sure they're at their best for this event. We'll do something special for the game on March 24th for our fans and we'll announce that at a later date."
It's a short week for the Amarillo Bulls who return to action on Thursday and Friday with a pair of games in Rio Grande Valley against the Killer Bees.
