Tulsa Oilers News Release
It will be reunion time once again for the Tulsa Oilers on Saturday August 28th, for the third annual American Airlines Alumni Game.
Oiler players from the past, including the original Central Hockey League, will gather at the Oilers Ice Center at 64th and Mingo to play a 7 p.m. game and then mingle with fans afterward.
"We started this as sort of just a fun get together but it's become one of the highlights of our off season, for both the players and our fans," Oilers General Manager Taylor Hall said. "Each year it has grown and gotten better."
Hall, who was a member of the Oilers' 1993 CHL championship team, will be playing in the game with a number of his former teammates. He said the Oilers will be making announcements about the participants for the game in the upcoming days.
All tickets are $10 for general admission seating to the game. Oiler season ticket holders will have the chance to enter the Oilers Ice Center ahead of members of the general public to choose their seats for the game.
The Oilers had the second highest point total increase in the CHL this season under head coach Bruce Ramsay, who was in his first season with the Oilers. They will have 33 home games at the BOK Center in the 2010-11 season.
Season tickets for 2010-11 with plans for as low as $26 a month are now available by calling the Oilers office at 918-632-PUCK (7825).
