
Alouettes add Nic Purcell to practice roster

Montreal, October 11, 2013 - The Montreal Alouettes announced on Friday that the club has added import offensive lineman Nic Purcell to the team's practice roster.
Purcell (6'6", 305 lbs.) signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a rookie free agent during the 2013 offseason after participating in the team's rookie mini-camp. The 28-year-old played two seasons at Golden West Community College in Southern California. The native of Auckland, New Zealand, started his collegiate career as a defensive lineman in 2011 before moving to to the offensive line the following season, starting nine of ten games as a second-year player.
