Indiana AlleyCats News Release
Anderson, IN (February 2, 2007) - The Indiana Alley Cats are off to a sensational start to the new year. They ended January with a mark of 10-3. They finished 6-1 on the road for the month. In their ten victories, they won by an average of eight points per game. In those victories, they also averaged 5.75 quarter points.
Due to the team's great success last month, Carlos Knox narrowly missed out on being named CBA Coach of the Month. The team landed four players on the American Conference All-Star team with Shaun Fountain, Erick Barkley, J.J. Sullinger, and Carl Edwards all being selected. The month featured a sweep on the road against the division-leading Albany Patroons and a victory at home against the Yakama Sun Kings, who have the best record in the CBA. Thanks to their stellar month, the Alley Cats have propelled into second place in their division.
The Alleys Cats will wrap up their road trip with two games in Minot tonight and tomorrow night. Tip off is 8:05 EST for both games. The games will determine who is in sole possession of second place by the end of Saturday night. After the game on Saturday night, the Alley Cats will take a few days off for the all-star break. Indiana Alley Cats season tickets and single game tickets are currently on sale.
