Allen Iverson Celebrity Softball Classic Guests Announced

The Bowie Baysox Baseball Club, Class AA affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, will be welcoming some of the hottest names in Sports and Entertainment, as the Allen Iverson Celebrity Softball Classic comes to Prince George's Stadium on Saturday, July 10 at 7:05 pm.

Prince George's Stadium will host the Allen Iverson Celebrity Softball Classic for the second consecutive season. CrossOver Promotions has confirmed a list of guests scheduled to appear which would make this year's event the most star-studded group of celebrities ever to play at Prince George's Stadium.

NBA Rookie of the Year, Lebron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and fellow rookie star, Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets will each make their first appearance at the Iverson Celebrity Softball Classic. NBA MVP Kevin Garnett who attended last year will be back. Antawn Jamison, recently traded to the Washington Wizards will have his chance to show off his softball abilities to his new hometown crowd. Maryland star and NBA standout Steve Francis will return back to the area for the game.

Also appearing for the first time will be NFL Stars QB Donovan McNabb of the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings WR Randy Moss as well as boxing great Roy Jones Jr. Richard "Rip" Hamilton of the NBA Champion Detroit Pistons and Aaron McKie a teammate of Allen Iverson's with the Philadelphia 76ers are also confirmed guests.

Several of the entertainment world's hottest stars will round out the list of celebrities at the Allen Iverson event including: Lil Mo, Big Tigger, Da Brat, Kadeem Hardison, Larenz Tate and Fat Joe.

In the history of the Allen Iverson Softball Classic, stars like Kevin Garnett, Steve Francis, Rip Hamilton, Fat Joe and former Georgetown University basketball coach and TNT broadcaster John Thompson have been to Prince George's Stadium.
