The Tulsa Oilers erased a 3-1 Americans second period lead, scoring four unanswered goals in a 5-3 win. Dylan Clarke had the hat trick for the Oilers. Americans forward Jarret Lukin had two goals for the Americans in the loss.
Friday December 30th
Americans 3 Laredo 4 OT
For the second straight game the Americans blew a 3-1 lead, losing to the Laredo Bucks 4-3 on Friday night. Laredo scored three power play goals against the number one ranked power play in the Central Hockey League. Rusty Masters led the way for Laredo, with a goal and three helpers.

Bruce Graham scored two goals including his 7th power play goal of the season, as the Americans rallied from a 2-0 second period deficit to beat the Bucks 3-2. Laredo forward Matt Pierce had two goals in the loss for the Bucks.
