The Allen Americans open a three-game series tonight against the Idaho Steelheads at Allen Event Center. The Americans took four out of a possible six points in Boise two weeks ago. The Americans enter tonight's game having picked up at least one point in eight of their last nine games.
Last Game:
The Americans blew two 2-goal leads on Sunday in Tulsa, as the Oilers beat the Americans 5-4 in overtime. The Bourbonnais, Shmyr and Salituro line provided three of the Americans four goals in the OT loss. Zach Pochiro scored his ECHL-leading 25th.

Zach Pochiro leads the ECHL with 25 goals.
Dante Salituro has a seven-game point streak (3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points).

Final Thoughts:
The Americans had their seven-game point streak snapped last Saturday night in Tulsa, but has picked up at least a point in eight of their last nine games.
Emerson Clark and Curt Gogol have missed the last four games, both serving a five-game suspension.
Idaho leads the league, averaging 21.65 penalty minutes per game.
Allen is 9-4-3-1 when scoring the first goal.
