All Faiths Night is Set for Saturday

Moline, IL-The Quad City Mallards All Faiths Night 2005 takes place this Saturday at The MARK. In addition to the Mallards game vs. Port Huron, strongman Bud Jeffries will also attend to perform feats of strength and share stories of his faith. Jeffries' presentation begins at 5:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:15 p.m. Legendary Chicago Blackhawks organist Frank Pellico will also be back at The MARK on this special night. Group tickets for All Faiths Night are available via the Mallards ticket office at (309) 764-7825.

Jeffries is a drug-free power lifter known for his amazing feats of strength. His will be performing various stunts including breaking a baseball bat in two, snapping chains around his neck, lifting 1,000 pounds and walking with 2,000 pounds. He uses the power of prayer to accomplish these feats and incorporates his testimony of faith into his presentation. The strongman travels the country speaking to church groups, schools and other organizations. Jeffries will begin his show at 5:30 p.m. preceding the Mallards game at 7:00 p.m.

Jeffries will be at Buffalo Elementary tomorrow to share his message with children from the Quad Cities. He will also be performing feats of strength including pulling a full-size school bus! All media are invited to attend. Buffalo Elementary is located 1000 Jefferson Street in Buffalo, Iowa.

All Faiths Night also marks the fourth appearance of Frank Pellico at The MARK. Pellico gained fame as the organist for the Chicago Blackhaws during the team's days at the Chicago Stadium. When the team moved to the United Center, Pellico continued to entertain fans at the new arena. In his first three appearances at The MARK, Pellico quickly found a following amongst Mallards fans.
