Alexian Field Hosts Major Events July 25

Schaumburg, IL - American Family Insurance and the Schaumburg Flyers invite all fans to come out to Alexian Field on Wednesday, July 25 to honor women in the business community when the Flyers take on the Gary SouthShore RailCats at 7:05 PM. The first 2,500 fans entering the gates will receive a Schaumburg Flyers/American Family Insurance stadium cup.
Fans should also plan to come early for the game as The Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest makes a stop at Alexian Field. Created and produced by Entertainment & Sports International (ESI), the 4,000 square foot Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest will be set-up just outside the main gates and will begin at 4:05 PM. ESI's Principal Financial Group Family Fun Fest is an unprecedented, and completely free, celebration of baseball which will be visiting 57 different minor league baseball ballparks during the 2007 season. It is the most extensive traveling baseball festival in history and features more than 20 baseball themed attractions including a minor league baseball museum, the Xbox 360 Home Run Derby video game trailer, and a fan festival midway with batting and pitching cages, bungee runs, a huge side- by-side giant slide, baseball bounce houses, and lots more interactive fun for baseball fans of all ages. In addition to these festivities, the Schaumburg Flyers will honor students by admitting those who show their current student ID card into the park for $5 for the Wednesday night game. The ticket will allow students to sit in the reserved seating sections and can be purchased in advance at the box office. Flyers Provide Weekend Festivities for the Whole Family
Schaumburg, IL- The Schaumburg Flyers will be providing top-notch entertainment to their fans in addition to the Flyers' six game homestand against the Gary Southshore Railcats and the Joliet Jackhammers starting Tuesday, July 24th through Sunday, July 29th. On Friday, July 27th the Flyers will take on cross-town rivals, the Joliet Jackhammers for a 6:45 PM start. The Flyers' famous fireworks display will also be featured following the game.
On Saturday, July 28th Alexian Field will host the renown ZOOperstars provided by Jewel-Osco. The inflatable mascot sports stars provide fun and entertainment for Flyers' fans of all ages. The ZOOperstars will be performing before and during the Flyers' 6:20 PM start for game two against Joliet.
