
Alexandria United announces Marketing Communications Director

Alexandria, VA. The ABA Alexandria United professional basketball team today announced that Bob Lennox has been named Marketing Communications Director. An award-winning designer and photographer with over 20 years in advertising, Mr Lennox has worked on Madison Avenue in New York as creative director for accounts like Clairol, Smucker, American Express, Chubb, GQ and House and Garden. For 12 years his own agency has represented Agfa, AT & T, Fuji, PIA, Sony, Samsung, United Association and more.
In the DC area, he worked as VP of Marketing and Communications for an international software company and as a Graphics Editor and Director of Photography for a start-up newspaper. He has been a judge at the Bennie Awards and the Wilmer Shield's "Excellence in Communications" Awards and has taught graphics at the college level. His photography has been well published in galleries and private collections.
Lennox has a degree in economics from the University of Virginia and studied advertising and photography in graduate school at Syracuse University. "He will be a great addition to a fabulous group of very talented individuals that we are assembling as part of the Alexandria United team - and we look forward to working with Bob," stated Daryl Mackey, co-owner.
