The Anaheim Ducks have assigned goaltender Gage Alexander to the Winnipeg ICE.

Alexander, selected in the 5th round, 148th overall in the 2021 NHL Draft by the Ducks, took part in his first NHL training camp.

The 19 year old, from Okotoks, Alberta, completed his second season with the ICE playing 9 regular season games during the shortened 2020-2021 WHL campaign registering a 6-3 record, 2.23 goals against average, .917 save percentage and one shut out.

In 16 WHL regular season games, Alexander's record is 7-4-1 with a 2.97 goals against average, .889 save percentage and one shut out.

Alexander was selected by the ICE in the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft in the 7th round, 133th overall.

The ICE return to action Wednesday night, 7:00 at the ICE Cave inside Wayne Fleming Arena versus Connor Bedard and the Regina Pats.
