Aleem Ford to Play for Puerto Rico Men's World Cup Qualifying Team

Puerto Rico Basketball has announced that Lakeland Magic's Aleem Ford will participate in the February 2023 Puerto Rico Men's World Cup Qualifying Team training camp and games on February 23 and 26.

Brazil will host Puerto Rico on February 23 and will meet Colombia on February 26. The full 2022-23 FIBA World Cup Qualifying schedule is available at https://www.fiba.basketball/basketballworldcup/2023/americas-qualifiers/games.

In 34 games played this season for the Lakeland Magic, Ford averaged 11.79 points and 2.88 rebounds in 28.6 minutes per game.

The Lakeland Magic will begin a three-game road trip starting against the Cleveland Charge on Friday, February 24 at 7 PM. The game is available to view on NBAGLeague.com.
