MEMPHIS, TN - Albuquerque hammered Memphis 16-6 Saturday night at AutoZone Park to send the Redbirds to their fourth straight loss.

The Isotopes scored early and often in their win over Memphis scoring in each of the first five innings and six of nine. The ‘Topes scored five runs in the fourth with John Lindsey's grand slam capping the rally and tacked on four more runs in the fifth with five hits. Lindsey finished the night 2-for-6 with six RBI and Ivan De Jesus Jr. added four hits for Albuquerque. Andre Ethier went 1-for-2 with two RBI and three runs scored in his second rehab game for the ‘Topes. Amaury Cazana drove in three runs for the Redbirds and Tyler Greene belted his third home run of the year in the loss.

Albuquerque's Travis Schlichting picked up the win with three scoreless innings of relief combining with Jesus Rodriguez for five shutout innings for the Isotopes bullpen. Memphis starter Ryan Kulik took the loss giving up nine runs, seven earned, on five hits and four walks in three-plus innings.

Memphis and Albuquerque play tomorrow night with game time scheduled for 6:05 p.m. with post-game fireworks presented by Pickler Wealth Advisors.
