
Albany FireWolves Add Rookie Defenseman for 2022-23 Season

ALBANY, NY - The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announce that defenseman Brent Mitchell has agreed to a two-year deal with the team. Mitchell will be making his NLL debut with the FireWolves as he joins the team ahead of his rookie season.
Mitchell attended Walsh University where he played on the field lacrosse team for four seasons. In his senior season in 2020-21, Mitchell started 10 of the team's 12 games and logged career highs in caused turnovers (5), points (24), and assists (9). Mitchell spent 2022 playing with the Nanaimo Timberman of the Jr. A Lacrosse League where he appeared in 17 regular season games and four playoff games.
