Seals Sign Star Forwards Curtis Dickson and Kevin Crowley

For the second straight year, the San Diego Seals have won free agency with the signings of superstar forwards Curtis Dickson and Kevin Crowley.

"To put it plain and simple, we're ecstatic," said General Manager and Head Coach Patrick Merrill. "To land both Dickson and Crowley is huge for our organization and instantly makes our team better. They bring athleticism, competitiveness, star power and championship experience to our lineup and will be a great fit both on and off the floor. The fans in San Diego are going to love these two and I couldn't be happier to welcome them to the team."

Dickson's one of the most talented players in the game. He spent his entire 11-year NLL career in Calgary, recording 458 goals and 845 points in 177 games played. The righty registered seven seasons with 40+ goals and three seasons with 100+ points. He was part of the 2019 NLL Championship team, a five-time NLL All-Pro and was named the 2011 NLL Rookie of the Year. He was selected third overall in the 2010 NLL Entry Draft.

"I'm so incredibly excited to be starting this next journey in my career with the Seals," said Dickson. "Seeing what Patrick and the rest of the organization have been building over the last few years is something I knew I wanted to be a part of. Helping bring a championship to the city of San Diego is now my number one priority, and I cannot wait to get started."

Crowley, who spent most of his career with the Philadelphia Wings organization, notched 337 goals and 775 points in 165 career games. The big 6-4, 200-pound righty registered six consecutive seasons with 70+ points, including a 51 goal season in 2018. He's been named a two-time NLL All-Pro and was named to the 2011 NLL All-Rookie team. Crowley was selected first overall in the 2012 NLL Entry Draft.

"I'm very excited to be a part of the Seals organization," said Crowley. "I have a great relationship with the coaching staff and a lot of friends and former teammates on the team. I look forward to playing in front of our fans at Pechanga [Arena]!"
