
Albany FireWolves Add Jeff Trainor to Roster

The Albany FireWolves of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), today announce that the team has agreed to a one-year deal with transition player Jeff Trainor.
Trainor is currently in his third season in the PLL after being selected by Archers LC in the 2021 PLL Collegiate Draft. He played the 2023 season with the Cannons and compiled four points on two goals and two assists as a defensive midfielder. Prior to his time in the PLL, Trainor had an accolade-filled collegiate career with UMass. During his graduate season in 2021, he became the highest scoring midfielder in program history and ended with 147 total points across his tenure with the Minutemen. He also represented Italy in this past summer's World Lacrosse Championship and scored 14 points on 10 goals and four assists while helping Italy win five of its six games.
